From our name to our mission, SŌWL is inspired by my grandmother, Sadye, who lived a life valuing faith, family, home and hospitality. Spending time with her during my childhood is where I first learned to appreciate the value of botanicals. A beautiful example of bravery and wisdom, she taught us to “never let anyone break your spirit”.
Recalling simpler times, SŌWL is also an ancient spelling of the word soul which can be nourished through stillness and finding rest. The owl, a symbol of wisdom and peaceful solitude, is a reminder to take time to remove ourself from the noise of life and take a moment to be still and be refreshed in our surroundings. Our hope is that our purifying, natural, grounding products will help cultivate this in each customer’s life and at home.
